We started out with a deck that needed a face lift.  The home homeowner needed a pace for his BBQ and all the food and utensil items that go with outdoor dining.

An outdoor cooking center was the perfect idea to provide a useful place for outdoor cooking and at the same time create a needed focal point in the back yard.

Next was to come up with some idea of how this BBQ cooking center was going to look.  A computer sketch illustrated the basic layout and a functional design overall shape. 

After we got through the building permit process we were finally able to start construction.

We had to support the BBQ structure and in doing the excavation we discovered a web of pool plumbing pipes in the way or our support foundation.  

We managed to reroute the pipes. 

The concrete foundation and drainage was installed and we were ready for our walls.

The block foundation walls and steel support angles went in and we were ready to start installing the finished tile, stone counter tops and appliances. 

The cook top, burners, sink and appliances created a useful an attractive and useful outdoor kitchen for family use. 

The beautiful mahogany pergola topped the entire project making it a focal point for the back yard.
