The most economical decks are constructed with pressure treated Southern Yellow Pine.
Lowest initial cost however staining maintenance is required for long lasting good looks.
Many pressure treated wood decks that we have built over 20 years ago still look very good as they have been maintained with an exterior stain and cleaned.
